“After
a 4hr set, Pacha Funky Room stayed open 2 hrs longer because the
crowd didn’t
want it to stop! That's what it's all about! I Loved it!”
Jamie started djing back in 1999 after being brought up on super
soulful mixtapes from Tony Humphries and now defunct famous London
nightspot
'Club UK'. Fusing soulful garage with the tougher side of house,
Jamie quickly discovered what it took to make a dancefloor move.
Expect more
than your fare share of accapellas, Fx and remixes with Jamie's
skillful programming and tight mixes making him a firm favourite
with any crowd.
As a natural extension of djing Jamie got into production with
producing a series of dancefloor friendly booties along with more
soulful laid
back cuts. Gaining support from Rasmus Faber, Andy Ward (SoulCentral),
Audiowhores, Claude Monnet, Dj Rocco to name a few.
2006 was one of the busiest so far for Jamie, with a season in
Ibiza plus making appearances at Turnmills (London) / Pacha (Ibiza)
/Shine
(San Francisco)/Egg (London) and Pacha (London) and securing various
residencies in his home town of London saw JT play to sell out
crowds around the world.
Having Dj’d alongside house music’s heavy hitters means
Jamie is no stranger to big crowds either. 2006 saw JT play at
one of Ibiza’s
biggest and longest running parties for San Francisco’s seminal
house music imprint OM Records.
Having travelled the globe in 2006 djing everywhere from London
to San Francisco via Ibiza and back again and with his debut release
on Feel’in Music Records about to hit, 2007 looks to be a
BIG year for Jamie T.
